GAMSOKO DTOS
DIGITAL TRADE OPERATING SYSTEM
INFRASTRUCTURE · NOT AN APP

The operating system for
Gambian digital trade

GamSoko DTOS is an authenticated interoperability and digital-commerce infrastructure that connects authorized government and private-sector data and services through contractual APIs — and from which many industry platforms are built.

“GamSoko is not another app. It is an infrastructure company that continuously creates apps and digital businesses on top of its infrastructure.”

The Gambian Digital Economy Stack

Five levels, from authoritative data sources to the people they serve.

LEVEL 1Data SourcesPartial

Authoritative institutional systems that remain the source of truth.

GovernmentBanksTelecomsHospitalsSchoolsBusinessesNGOsAgricultureTourismLogistics

Live external sources connected (weather, global LEI); most institutional sources modelled as contracts, pending connection.

LEVEL 2API ContractsBuilt

Every connection authenticated, permissioned, auditable, secure, interoperable.

AuthenticatedPermissionedAuditableSecureInteroperable

Implemented as a contract-first service registry; the gateway refuses undeclared paths.

LEVEL 3GamSoko DTOS CoreBuilt

The interoperability and digital-commerce engine.

Most core capabilities live; payments are deliberately handoff-only (No Funds Custody).

LEVEL 4Vertical PlatformsPartial

Industry products built on the same DTOS — not independent companies.

Two deep verticals (Agri, Commerce) prove the pattern; others partial or planned.

LEVEL 5UsersBuilt

Everyone the ecosystem serves.

Real multi-role access model with 13 explicit user personas across 4 segments (domestic, institutional, international, platform).

The core asset: a contract-governed data & API network

GamSoko does not own everyone’s data. It establishes authenticated institutional relationships, each governed by an API contract — producing an authenticated digital economic network rather than a simple database. The institution always remains the authoritative source of its data.

Ten ways the infrastructure earns

Not dependent on marketplace commissions alone — the DTOS monetises across layers.

1Platform subscriptions
Built

Agencies and companies pay for access to specialized DTOS products.

Billing plans live (Access / Operate / Scale).

2SaaS (per-institution)
Built

Institutions pay monthly/annual fees for platforms built on the DTOS.

Per-institution tenancy + per-tenant billing live, with a second tenant provisioned and billed in production.

3API access
Built

Organizations pay per agreed API usage or service tier.

Scoped keys + usage metering + ledger-derived overage.

4Transaction fees
Built

Earnings on commerce facilitated through the platform.

Transparent transaction-fee engine live (lib/revenue-engine): a published 1.0% fee is accrued on every settled direct-commerce transaction from the real orders ledger. No Funds Custody — collection handed to a regulated provider (PSD2-aligned), so accrued is real, collected is pending.

5Enterprise integrations
Built

Companies pay for custom API integrations.

Integration catalogue with 7 declared patterns (5 available, 2 coming soon) across Commerce, Trade, Verification, Agriculture, Analytics and Finance domains.

6Data services
Built

Authorized, aggregated, anonymized data services — never personal-data sale.

Governed analytics API live (analytics.read scope); aggregate-only, never personal data. Available as a PREMIUM integration pattern.

7Digital procurement
Built

Earnings from institutional procurement workflows.

End-to-end digital procurement product live: institutional RFQ → competitive bids → award, with a transparent capped facilitation fee (1.5%, max 25,000 GMD) accrued on awarded value and recorded to the tamper-evident audit ledger.

8Marketplace commissions
Built

Participating businesses pay commissions or fees.

In-platform commission engine live (lib/revenue-engine): a published, capped 2.5% (max 5,000 GMD) commission is accrued on every settled marketplace-brokered sale from the real orders ledger. No Funds Custody — collection handed off.

9White-label DTOS
Built

Another country or institution deploys a branded version.

White-label branding + hub-and-satellite surfacing live, with a second branded tenant provisioned and billed.

10Vertical platforms
Built

Build infrastructure that produces 10–50 digital businesses — the core thesis.

Sector-pack framework live with 5 defined packs (Agriculture, Verification, Commerce, Trade, Tourism); 15 verticals declared; 2 deep verticals (Agri, Commerce) prove the pattern end-to-end.

The Gambia as hub · Africa as satellites

Partial

Once proven, The Gambia operates as the hub and other countries join as satellites. Each keeps its own regulatory environment, government APIs, data residency, institutions, payment rails and users — while the DTOS architecture stays common.

What keeps it trustworthy

We never hold your money

Banks and licensed mobile-money providers hold and settle all funds. DTOS issues payment instructions only.

We never take your data

The institution remains the authoritative source. DTOS is the connectivity, authentication and commerce layer.

We label what is not live

Connections still being certified are marked pending — never faked, in demos or in production.

A continuous growth cycle

DTOS → APIs → Vertical Platforms → Transactions → Data Intelligence → New Products → New Revenue Streams
